About Me

Check out my anime list.

I am 6ft tall, I have blue eyes, dark blond hair. I'm a fourth year student at a university going for two Bachelor degrees, Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
In my free time I like to draw/work on wallpapers, play video games and watch anime.
I hate reading books without any pictures. I like learning new things. I try to finish one task before starting a new one. If life permits, I want to travel around the world.

|(C_C)| emoticon Actually some did stare, but since my hair was wrong and colored black I looked quite normal. yeah, it was quite embarrassing but I was able to keep my cool at least I didn't freak out when some people suddenly asked me if they can take a picture and have a free hug... |(n_n)| emoticon

Ah they appear similar, but their effects look different depending on types of blending modes you use. Opacity just makes what you have in your layer more transparent. Fill controls how intense the blending mode is, basically, and can be coupled with changing the opacity to make it more/less transparent too. Fill and opacity have noticeable differences on color dodge/burn, vivid light, difference, exclusion. Try em out to see what fill does to them. (I'd say it makes them less intense - aka it lowers their "fill" amount, lol)

Thx. :) Hmmm, considering how long it took to vector the lines, I'd say yea, about half way. :D

Lol, not quite. It's like telling someone that plays football that they just like tackling people, running, and playing catch :P. It's fun because it's competitive, and requires lots of learning and conditioning :P.

Hmm, I guess you could say unless you have an interest in it you don't really appreciate it (which is totally understandable). I don't enjoy watching football or feel compelled to play it so I don't see what's so great about it, but we all know that's completely different for other people. I just feel that way about boxing. I just always used to love watching it on TV, but a lot of people look at it as "those guys are just hitting each other pointlessly until one gives out". Like any sport I could explain a whole bunch of details which makes it so much more then what it seems, but I guess it's just because it gives me something to do, it's fun and productive, and I just love it, lol.

Lol, I haven't played it at least two weeks, I'm too busy with all these clubs and academics. I think I'm addicted to boxing though, I always loved the sport but couldn't participate in it because I was always growing up and braces held me back. Now that I can finally get into it, and I love it... lol.

Lol naw, unfortunately no. >.< But resizing down, or cropping down really helps. :) The jagged nasty stuff usually appears on edges that have contrasting shades/colors.

Ah, I mentioned some tips in my vector guide, but for me, I often start big and resize down the finished wall/vector (this works the best). I also try a 0.2-0.3 gaussian blur on it in photoshop to soften it up. If neither are strong enough, I go in manually with the smudge tool to smooth out really jagged edges on the finished jpeg.

Well I found the perfect scan, and shortly after the perfect vector of the scan I was thinking of doing -_-. What I plan on doing is vectoring and making a wall of something I can actually do and want (since I'll be staring at it for a long time, lol). Then if I'm up for it, I'll try vectoring that screenshot I have when I get better and acquire more skills.

*cry* Akkkii, I VLC player managed to capture my screenshot, but when looking at a bunch of \"start from scratch you noob\" and \"how to vector\" tutorials, a bunch of them are deleted, missing parts, or just flat out not there anymore. I\'m attempting to learn how to vector this screenshot, but in the process I realized how difficult it is for me to portray it because:
1) The tutorial you refered me to: has the TWO MOST IMPORTANT parts down :[ (\"Tutorials that will help beginners in walling\" and \"Vectoring tutorial\")
2) The resolution and quality of this anime scene is pretty shitty and when I have the screenshot on photoshop, you can\'t even define where the eye lines are -_-
3) I loveeee the long black hair that streaks across the scene in my screenshot... but however, the dark purple background in that shot doesn\'t compliment that too well so vectoring lines around the hair is proving to be very difficult (I made a new layer that\'s the screenshot only really bright and contrasted to help refer me to where the lines on the screenshot are)

I could just try a different image and attempt to solve my problems, but I love this scene >_<!
