Killing time... with a knife.
About Me
Check out my anime list.
I am 6ft tall, I have blue eyes, dark blond hair. I'm a fourth year student at a university going for two Bachelor degrees, Computer Engineering and Computer Science.
In my free time I like to draw/work on wallpapers, play video games and watch anime.
I hate reading books without any pictures. I like learning new things. I try to finish one task before starting a new one. If life permits, I want to travel around the world.

Well I thought the same thing aki, but both my sister's boyfriend and one of her friends which I'm good friends with convinced me to watch it. It's actually very very very good and I'd highly recommend it, lol. In two days I've watched 17 episodes, 7 episodes in I rated it a 9, and 9 episodes in I gave it a 10, lol. It's a VERY engaging story and has a great flow and balance of emotions as well.
Indeed I did, I only have 287 more episodes to go till I hit 300! Haha
"Subs, 90% of the anime I watch is subbed."
lol yeah i know. :P as for fill/opacity %...it really depends on what the layer is. some layers are like way down there, 10%; others, such as the independent strands, are at 100%. i don't have a formula for how i do things; i just eyeball it for each and every vector i make.akihikosamaWhoa, the hair and eyes have enough to fill most of the free space. XD If its no secret, what % range did you use for your fill/opacity on the layers?
Hey aki, I just finished watching Cowboy Bebop and it's actually pretty good. Maybe not up to the "Everyone gives it a 10" exaggerated good kind, but it has a good story, and a hella good ending.
Sorry for the late response aki, I've been busy with exams and my boxing club. I almost always use torrents, like 95% of the time. So it's safe to assume that all anime I get is torrent based unless I say otherwise, lol.
Hey~ thank you for the comment and fav on Resolution. 8] number of shape layers? for only the character and counting only the ones in current use, i would say it's in the 400s. it's not a lot i guess if i think about some others' stats. but i bet very few would look like this. this is basically what happens when you outline all of my preliminary vector's shapes (that is, not counting additional effects and fixes). >D
I pretty much only use gradients for lighting effects - I tend to paint in everything else on my walls.
Naw, I don't use illustrator very often. I shade with the airbrush in photoshop. :)
Nice entry akihikosama!I really like it ^^
He's told me vaguely, but I still haven't figured it out in illustrator. If you take a look at his paths screenshot you'll see these weird lines/curves that seem to be out in the middle of nowhere - well those are how he does his gradients. He somehow applies them on a line(s) and masks them to the shape/area he wants. I have no idea how to apply a gradient along a single pen path though. XO The closest I've gotten is to use the blend option between two stroked lines of different colors - doing so will make a nice gradient between the two lines. However this doesn't sound like Deto's technique to me.
There isn't a sub group name attached to the files I downloaded but I believe the translating group is called Amateras if that helps.
More like too busy... DX I have midterms and deadlines and such. I'd feel too guilty to work on my wall. T__T
